Centurion · New pricing · Oct 29

Mini-splits down $250 a unit.

Centurion's Oct 29 sheet against the signed Sept 26 agreement. Central air is now in writing, and the dealer fee finally has a number. The drafts below wait for your OK.

Rebates and dealer fee (new)

Before: one line, "Dealer Fee (20%)", with no base, and rebates "not fixed by this Agreement".

Now: a fixed rebate credit per home, and a fixed dealer fee that is exactly 20% of that rebate.

Home Rebate Dealer fee DAC rebate DAC dealer fee
1 family$7,000$1,400$8,000$1,600
2 family$7,000$1,400$8,000$1,600
3 family$10,500$2,100$12,000$2,400
4 family$14,000$2,800$16,000$3,200

2. What it changes

  • Dealer email campaign: nothing to fix. The emails and dealer pages quote no unit prices or rebate amounts. "No fee to join" still holds: Centurion's dealer fee is charged to us, not to dealers.
  • Rep pay page ($550): nothing on it changes, because it is built on Jimmy's prices. On a Centurion job under the same +$550 rule, floors become 9K $3,000 · 12K $3,050 · 18K $3,150 · 24K $3,450, so a 24K now fits under the $3,600 cap (it was $3,700). Whether the dealer cut changes the $550 is still your open call from Oct 28.
  • Henry (Oct 28 call): central air cost did not move, so the numbers you gave him still hold: Gree $16,900 / $18,100, Mitsubishi $21,000 / $22,200. That is $2,500 (Gree) and $3,000 (Mitsubishi) over Centurion. The "nice chunk" drop you told him about is not on this sheet.
  • Albert (Oct 28 calls): the sheet puts both deals in writing. Mini-splits are down exactly his $250 ($550 to $300 over Jimmy). Central air is exactly Jimmy's base + $6,500 install + 20%, which settles the "sixty-five" as $6,500.
  • Aerdwell catalog: sample prices only, and its NY installer is Jimmy, not Centurion. No change. (Sample only.)
  • Also: 7K is gone from the sheet. The Mount Vernon dealer fee question (Oct 27) is answered: it is 20% of the rebate.

3. Drafts (not sent)

Draft · Not sent

Draft A: Henry's price sheet

Revbase pricing, effective Oct 29. Jobs already sold keep their price.

Central airPrice
Gree 3-ton$16,900
Gree 5-ton$18,100
Mitsubishi 3-ton$21,000
Mitsubishi 5-ton$22,200
4-tonon request
Ductless mini-splitPrice
9K$2,650
12K$2,700
18K$2,800
24K$3,100

Mini-splits are Centurion's new price + your $200 a unit. Central air is the same as Oct 28.

Draft B: Albert's sheet (the chain, for him to confirm)

Size Centurion Revbase add Dealer pays Was Change
9K$2,450$200$2,650$3,000down $350
12K$2,500$200$2,700$3,050down $350
18K$2,600$200$2,800$3,150down $350
24K$2,900$200$3,100$3,450down $350

"Was" = Sept 26 price + your old $300. Central air: Centurion $14,400 / $15,600 / $18,000 / $19,200; dealers pay $16,900 / $18,100 / $21,000 / $22,200, same as Henry.

Draft C: Dealer pitch line

For dealers already with us:

"Heads up: your NY mini-split pricing just dropped $350 a unit on every size, 9K to 24K, starting today."

For cold dealers (no dollar figure, per the campaign claim rule):

"Our New York heat pump pricing just came down on every size, so your reps can quote lower and close more."

4. Questions for you

  1. Henry: central air did not drop on this sheet. Send him Draft A now (central air unchanged plus the new mini-split rows), or wait for the lower central-air pricing you told him was coming?
  2. The drafts put your $200 a unit on top of Centurion's new mini-split prices, so dealers pay $350 less. Is $200 right?
  3. 7K is gone from the sheet, and the BTU lines name no brand (Henry asked for Mitsubishi ductless). Want a draft question to Juan on both?
  4. The new dealer fee takes 20% of the rebate, but agreement §5 says rebates go to the homeowner and don't reduce commission. Accept it as written, or raise it with Albert?
